Baby equipment rental in Amsterdam
Search for baby equipment rental in Amsterdam and you will find sites promising everything from cots to bottle warmers. We do one category properly instead: strollers, and the accessories that go on them.
This page sets out exactly what is available, what we sell rather than rent, and what we do not offer at all — so you can plan the rest of your packing around a clear answer.
Rent from €16.95 / day · Most families rent 3–5 days · Free to reserve · cancel free up to 24h.
What we rent
The core of the service is the stroller. Two models: a lightweight travel stroller for toddlers who mostly walk and nap in transit, and a 3-in-1 pram that takes a carrycot for babies who still need to lie flat.
On top of that come the parts of a stroller day nobody thinks about until it rains: covers, footmuffs, shade, storage and small comforts. Those are rented alongside the stroller and returned with it.
Everything is priced per day and shown as separate lines in your booking summary, so there is no bundled figure to unpick later.
- Travel stroller — light, compact, toddler-focused
- 3-in-1 pram — carrycot, seat and car-seat compatible
- Rain cover and parasol
- Footmuff for cold months
- Cup holder, organiser and hooks
What we sell rather than rent
Some things are cheaper to buy than to rent, and some are simply not sensible to pass between families. We sell those instead through the travel essentials range: adapters, cables, rain ponchos, cable locks, picnic blankets, tissues and similar.
The rule we apply is straightforward. If cleaning it between families cannot make it genuinely fresh, or if the rental price would approach the purchase price, it is for sale rather than for hire.
You can add them to a booking or pick them up with your stroller. They are yours to keep and there is nothing to return.
Why we split it this way
What we deliberately do not offer
We do not rent car seats. A car seat's safety depends on its history — whether it has been in a collision, how it has been stored, whether it is within its service life. We cannot verify that to the standard a parent deserves across a rental fleet, so we do not offer it.
We do not rent travel cots, high chairs, bottle warmers, monitors or bath equipment. Most Amsterdam hotels and apartments provide cots and chairs on request, which is the better route.
If you need those, ask your accommodation first. It is usually free, already in the building, and does not need collecting.
- Car seats — safety history cannot be guaranteed
- Travel cots and high chairs — ask your hotel first
- Feeding and bathing equipment — not part of our service
How collection works
You request a reservation with your dates and pickup point, we confirm availability, and you collect at Schiphol Airport or Amsterdam Central within a one-hour window you choose. Return works the same way.
Delivery to your accommodation is available through partner hotels for €15. Outside that partner network we do not deliver, and we would rather say so here than after you have booked.
The full sequence, including the deposit and the inspection at handover, is on the how it works page.
What it costs
Stroller rental starts at €16.95 per day. Add-ons are individually priced, hotel delivery adds €15, and a refundable deposit is held on your card for the duration of the rental.
Most families rent for three to five days, which is the useful mental model when you are comparing against buying a cheap stroller on arrival and disposing of it at the end.
The full breakdown, including what the deposit actually does, is on the rental cost page.
Frequently asked
What baby equipment can I rent in Amsterdam?
We rent strollers and stroller accessories: rain covers, footmuffs, cup holders, organisers, parasols and similar add-ons. Travel essentials such as adapters, ponchos and carriers are sold rather than rented, because hygiene and cost make buying the sensible option.
Do you rent car seats, cots or high chairs?
No. We deliberately keep to strollers and the things that attach to them. Car seats and cots have safety and hygiene requirements we are not set up to guarantee for every rental, so we would rather say no than do it half-well.
Where do I collect the equipment?
At Schiphol Airport or Amsterdam Central. Delivery to your accommodation is possible through our partner hotels for a €15 surcharge. Those are the only options — we do not deliver to other locations.
How much does it cost?
Stroller rental starts at €16.95 per day, with a refundable deposit held on your card. Add-ons are priced individually and shown in the booking summary before you confirm anything.
Can I add items after I have booked?
Yes. Before pickup you can add accessories to an existing reservation, and we send a reminder shortly before your pickup slot in case you have forgotten something.
Is the equipment cleaned between rentals?
Every stroller is cleaned and inspected between rentals against a fixed checklist. The process is described in detail on our hygiene and safety page.
