The ferry is the easy part
Ferries leave from behind Amsterdam Central Station, are free, run constantly and are entirely step-free. You roll on and roll off; nothing needs folding.
Because our Centraal handover is on the IJ side of the station, you are minutes from the ferry ramp with your stroller already unfolded.
What is worth the crossing
NDSM has open industrial space and room to run. The A'DAM Lookout side is closer and quicker. Noorderpark is flat, green and quiet.
Distances in Noord are larger than in the centre, so wheels matter more, not less.

Weather note
The IJ is exposed and the wind across it is real. A rain cover at €3 a day doubles as a windbreak.
